Not to be outdone by their team mates at last weeks Portland Marathon (see recap of results below) – BAC members excelled at the Chicago Marathon in rather warm conditions.

Leading home the charge on the men’s side was Phil “straight in 08” McCartney in 22^nd place overall in a time of 2.27.16, closely followed by Brian McGovern in 28^th with 2.28.21 in his debut marathon. Stu Burton struggled home a little after a fast start with 2.40.10. Bruno Garcia from NTNY ran 3.06.49, John Dimoff 3.07.17 and Jim Jennings 4.06.57. (Two other Nike employees who are not yet BAC members also ran – Peter Breeze 3.24 and Kevin Oberle 3.54)

On the women’s side Jamie Hord (formerly Gibbs) placed 29^th overall in 2.59.17, followed by Carrie Dimoff 3.07.18, Michelle Donovan 3.38.42 and Deb Talbert 3.55.41.

Results of the team competition are not in yet but our Mixed BAC team of Phil, Brian, Jamie and Carrie almost certainly will have taken first place.
